Speaker & Trip Schedule

All field trips meet at 6am for a hot buffet breakfast in an outdoor pavilion at Burnwood Park (except Monday at the Meadows at Opossum Creek Retreat). Field trips depart by 7am, and return between 2 and 5pm depending on your trip selections. The Meadows at Opossum Creek Retreat hosts informal "Popcorn" Presentation at 3pm, Dinner at 6pm, and the evening Presentation immediately follows dinner. READ MORE

Trip Descriptions

A few are tried-and-true and a few are new. Choose between Gold Standard, Premium, and All-Day trips. We think every trip route and location are equally great; the big differences are the number of participants and guides, mode of transportation, and return time. Some participants choose All-Day trips all week (I lovingly refer to them as "break-neck birders") and some others schedule a day of afternoon down-time...  READ MORE

Lodging

Our cabin lodging packages feature small homes in beautiful wooded settings with all modern conveniences and utilities, including private hot tubs. When you select a package with lodging, we make your reservations for you at a special rate agreement we have with our partners. Lodging options are on a first-come, first-serve basis. You choose between Opossum Creek Retreat Cabins, Country Road Cabins, [Adventures on the Gorge Cabins FULL], Hemlock Haven Cabins, Oak Hill Holiday Lodge hotel accommodations, or choose a package without lodging.  READ MORE
